My first senior session? It was for a friend when I was a senior, armed with a dream and a photo lab job back when we developed film. Now I’m a West Michigan senior photographer still obsessed with capturing this once-in-a-lifetime season.

When should I schedule my senior session?

Most seniors book their session the summer before senior year or early fall—this gives plenty of time for yearbook deadlines and graduation announcements. I recommend booking 2–3 months in advance to snag your ideal date.

How long does a senior session last?

I’m based in South Haven and photograph weddings across West Michigan. I do travel for weddings and elopements—reach out for custom quotes and details.

What should I wear for senior photos?

Yes! I love intimate celebrations. Whether you’re saying your vows on the beach, in the woods, or in your own backyard, I offer custom elopement coverage tailored to your day.

Can I choose the location?

Yes! I shoot throughout South Haven, Grand Rapids, and nearby areas. Whether you’re into nature, downtown vibes, or want to shoot somewhere meaningful to you (like your high school or favorite hangout), we’ll create a session that fits your style.

Can I include props or hobbies in my shoot?

Absolutely! Bring your guitar, skateboard, sports gear—anything that shows off what you love. I want these photos to reflect who you are right now.

Can I bring a friend or parent with me?

Of course. A hype squad is always welcome! Parents are great for touch-ups and support, and friends can help make the session more relaxed and fun.

What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?

That’s my job to fix—not yours! I’ll guide you through flattering poses and keep things relaxed so your real personality comes through. You don’t need modeling experience—just show up as yourself.

How soon will I get my photos?

You’ll receive your fully edited digital gallery within 2–3 weeks. From there, you can download high-res files, order prints, and share your favorites wherever you want.
